Helen Mirren is a very talented Hollywood actress having won many awards including academy awards and Golden globe awards. Mirren was born in 1945 in Hammersmith, England. Her father had Russian origin, whereas her mother had Irish origin. She was brought up in Hammersmith where she completed her school studies and junior college studies.

Helen Mirren was born talented with skills in acting. She had her first audition at the age of eighteen and was accepted in the house of arts and acting at the age of twenty. She played the role of Cleopatra at the old vic and there she happened to meet her agent Al Parker. She signed the contract with her agent and began her journey in the big silver screen.

In her early stage of building career in acting, Mirren had the contract with the Royal Shakesphere Company, which was broadly known as RSC in England. For RSC, Mirren played numerous stage plays in the leading female actor role.

Mirren also acted in number of movies that gave her the opportunity to prove her acting skills in the big screen. Some of the big movies she excelled as brilliant actress are The Long Good Friday, The Mosquito Coast, White Nights, Excalibur, 2010 etc…
