Donna King was born on September 3, 1918 in Sanford, Colorado, USA. For many years, she performed with her sisters as "the King Sisters", using the middle name of their dad, William King Driggs.
She married record producer, Jim Conkling, with who she had 5 children: Candy, Jamie, Laurette, Xandra Conkling and Chris Conkling. In the 60's-70's, King and her family appeared on "The King Family Show" (1965) and toured with the family.
Donna died (asthma and cancer) on June 20 2007 in Plano, Texas, USA.
